About AW's Themed Soap

Anne and her family

How it started.

I started making soap during the pandemic, it was something I could do with my kids while everyone was in lockdown. At first I was giving my soaps away to family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors. Everybody started telling me I should start selling them. At first I was hesitant, but then I found out I was about to be unemployed within a matter of months. That gave me the push I needed. I started searching for craft fairs and Farmer's markets locally and as of December of 2021 I officially became a business.

The design.

My family works together to create custom soaps. My daughters help with ideas and decorating. My husband helps with new molds and also creates soap dishes. Everyone helps out at craft fairs. The design process is mainly trial and error. When I get a new mold I try it out with different bases. I choose the color and then the fragrance. The base is the most important element to making custom soaps.
